Linda Ikeji Fed Up Over Incessant Pressure To Get Married

In a recent chat with Genevieve Magazine, Linda Ikeji shared their thoughts on the pressure women face to get married before the age of 30.

According to her, there is more to life than being someone’s wife citing that marriage is not a do or die affair.

“Marriage is not an achievement. There is so much more to life than being someone’s wife. Get married please, but don’t be pressured into it. I don’t know how many of you single girls are under pressure to get married but I am. Pressure from family, friends and people who just can’t mind their business”.

Stressing on the huge pressure she gets from people around her, she said “The pressure is so intense right now I feel like going to husband market – if there is any such thing- to buy myself some breathing space. Give me a break you people”.

Last year, the blogger announced that she was very much single and looking to be in a relationship after she shared the news about her much talked about Banana Island mansion. She also added that God’s time is the best, saying she was ready whenever He was.
