Lil Wayne reportedly got into some trouble after the BET Awards on Sunday (Jun. 26). The rapper, who was hosting an after-party with 2 Chainz at Hyde nightclub on Sunset Blvd., is being accused of battery.
A bouncer at Hyde filed the battery report, saying that Wayne punched him in the face after members of his entourage were turned away at the door, according to TMZ.
However, Weezy’s camp denies the incident. They claim the bouncer actually worked Wayne’s VIP area the whole night. They acknowledge that there was a brief altercation after the bouncer grabbed Tunechi by the arm. He later apologized.
Although the injuries were deemed minor, Wayne could reportedly be facing a misdemeanor battery charge.
Wayne has had a year of ups and downs. After reigniting his Cash Money feud, he suffered a couple of seizures earlier this month while flying on a plane.
