Rostrum Records Countersues Wiz Khalifa For $2 Million

Wiz Khalifa filed a lawsuit against Rostrum and his former manager earlier this month.

Earlier this month, Wiz Khalifafiled a $1 million lawsuit against his current label Rostrum Records, founded by his former manager Benjy Grinberg, claiming that Rostrum and Grinberg were "faithless fiduciaries in direct contravention of their obligations to him." In other words, Wiz had signed a 360 deal that his team has now deemed legally unfair.

TMZ reports that Rostrum has countersued Wiz for $2 million. The lawsuit claims that the Rostrum signed a deal with Wiz when he signed his deal in 2005 in which the label is entitled to 15% of all revenue from touring and music royalties and 20% of any merch sales.

Wiz plans to end his deal with Rostrum as soon as this legal business gets sorted out.
