Rihanna once again missed out on her performance at the Grammy Award, the second time the singer will be missing her performance.
Rihanna who just released her 8th studio album ANTI was billed to perform at the prestigious award but missed out on her show due to illness. The singer is struggling with Bronchitis.
Her rep says that the singer’s doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because she “was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal cords.” Rihanna had been taking antibiotics for three days, though the meds “did not kill the infection adequately.”
“#NAVY so sorry I couldn’t be there ….. Thanks Grammys and CBS for your support tonight,” Rihanna tweeted.
Rihanna is expected to embark on tour later this month
