Liberian President Visits Buhari In Aso Villa Thanking Nigeria For Role In Ebola Fight [SEE PHOTOS]

 

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, February 16, hosted the Liberian President, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja.

Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf  who is her country’s  first ever female president was in the thick of Liberia’s staunch struggle with the deadly Ebola virus  some couple of months ago.

She visited Nigeria to discuss regional security and cooperation with Nigeria’s President Buhari who noted the challenges that terrorist groups have posed to the region.

According to Channels TV,  Sirleaf told reporters that she was also in Nigeria to thank President Buhari for the support her country received from Nigeria, during the troubled period of Ebola disease outbreak. It was also reported that, she also came to renew the strong relationship her country has with Nigeria.

Buhari also received Members of Parliament from Britain who paid him a courtesy visit at the Presidential Villa.

The Nigerian president reassured his British guests that his administration will all its promises to Nigeria.
