It was earlier reported that, Chelsea FC of England received an injury boost ahead of their Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain of France, as team captain, John Terry has trained with the squad on Monday after picking up a knock over the weekend.
However, new reports circulating has it that, the Blues captain has been ruled out of the crucial tie following the hamstring problem.
After Monday’s workout, Terry, 35, was not deemed fit enough to make the trip to the Parc des Princes for Tuesday’s crucial round of 16 tie clash with the Paris millionaires.
The former England international was replaced by Baba Rahman in the first-half at Stamford Bridge as the Blues ran riot over Newcastle United to continue their unbeaten run under interim manager Guus Hiddink.
But it’s not all bad news for the reigning Premier League champions as Brazil midfielder Oscar has travelled with the squad to Paris.
Oscar was sidelined for the weekend drubbing of the Magpies due to a calf injury, but is fit for the French outfit.
