"I Will Not Step Down For Bode George" – Dokpesi On PDP Chairmanship Tussle

The tussle for the seat of People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s chairmanship has intensified as the chairman of Africa Independent Television (AIT), Chief Raymond Dokpesi has categorically stated that he will not step down for anyone.

Dokpesi reiterated his plans not to step down in a meeting with members of the party in Ekiti state, as he said he will not step down for Chief Bode George.

According to Raymond Dokpesi, Bode George is one of the old school members, saying that it is time for youths to take over the affairs of the party.

“High Chief Dokpesi is busy meeting the delegates and outlining his programmes for the reformation and rebuilding of the PDP. He is not considering stepping down for anyone as he is widely accepted by delegates across the country. He remains the candidate to beat.

” As at noon of Saturday, 30th July, we have visited all the states in the Southern region, except Ekiti, which we are heading to now. We will be meeting delegates from the Northern region as from Sunday so High Chief Dokpesi is committed to the campaign and he is confident that he will win by the grace of God and the support of the delegates” Dokpesi’s media team said.
