PHOTOS: Madonna Visits Kenya For Philanthropic Work; Gets Slammed For Calling Kenya “Africa’s Largest Slum”

American singer, Madonna is presently in Kenya, where she is visiting for philanthropic works in partnership with SHOFCO (Shining Hope for Communities).

The 57-year-old singer is in Kenya to help get more free schools for girls, and to also help and alleviate the sufferings of the community by providing essential services including portable water and free health care.

Sometime earlier this week, Madonna shared a photo of a canal in Kibera and called Kenya “Africa’s largest slum” but a large number of followers and Kenyan fans were not too happy about that and they chastised her out for it.
