Khloé Kardashian is still going into detail about she and Lamar Odom’s failed marriage. In a new episode of “Kocktails with Khloé” that aired Wednesday (March 23), the 31-year-old reality star revealed that she tried to have a baby with the Queens native in a last effort to save their union.
“That’s all I wanted at the time,” Kardashian said. “I thought it would maybe fix the situation, so I’m also happy it didn’t happen because I was young. I was 27 and thought ‘A baby will fix this!’ and it’s not going to fix that.”
Kardashian, who tied the knot with the former NBA Sixth Man in 2009, was vocal about her struggle to conceive on several of her family’s reality shows. In an interview with Redbook in May of 2013, she publicly blamed her fertility issues on her “hormones being off.” Still, the “Strong Looks Better Naked” author has hopes of motherhood in the future.
“I do want to have a baby in life,” she said. “I’ve tried IVF and all that. But I’m also, right now in my life, I just don’t want to have a baby. I still want to have my family,” she said.
Whether she will have a family of her own with the former Laker remains to be seen. Though Kardashian said last month that remarrying Odom would be the “best dream,” the talk show host said that the twosome are currently focused on rebuilding their friendship.
